Insurance Process
Filing A Claim
Step 1. Have your roof inspected to determine if there is enough damage to justify it. If damages are less than your deductible, you'll be better off paying out of pocket for necessary repairs.
Step 2. If significant damage is found, call your insurance company to file the claim and get your claim number. When you call, they will want your name, address and phone number as well as your policy number. In addition, they will want to know the approximate date and time of your loss as well as a brief description of what happened.
Step 3. Contact Colorado Roof Assist to let us know the date and time that your insurance company is sending out their adjuster to inspect the damage. Doing so insures that we can meet with the adjuster and come to an agreement on the scope of work before he leaves your property.
Step 4. Pick out the style and color of shingles that you want for your new roof.
Step 5. Once materials are delivered to your property, make your first payment from the insurance check and pay your deductible.
Step 6. Once job is completed, we will provide your insurance company with a final invoice and they will send you a final check.
Step 7. When the check arrives, make your final payment to Colorado Roof Assist and enjoy your beautiful new roof.
